The American culture has been quite influent in France since the end of the 2nd World War. There was a time it was even bigger than our native culture: Everything had to look or sound American in order to be cool and to get sold. Since the mid-90's the influence has started to fade, the Gulf War , the high school massacres and now the Trump presidency has quite tarnished the trans-Atlantic model ... Now we are left with the vestiges.
